Invest in Energy Alternatives, Not another War to Secure Oil

Instead of squandering millions (billions?) of dollars (not to mention thousands of lives at home and abroad) on yet another oil war, why doesn’t the United States invest a small part of that money in breaking our dependence on fossil fuels?

To ask that question of oilmen such as President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney reveals the deep-seated corruption at the heart of our political system.
